How we talk about AI
We are an engineering studio that builds AI features, not an AI company. The distinction matters because it changes what we optimise for: a model is a dependency inside a product that has to work, not the product itself.
Practically, that shows up in three habits. We build an evaluation set from your real data before choosing a model, so the choice is measured rather than argued. We model token cost and latency at your projected volume, because the demo economics and the production economics are rarely the same number. And we design the wrong-answer path first, since every one of these systems has a non-zero error rate and the only question that matters is what a wrong answer costs you.
The corollary is that we will sometimes tell you the honest answer is a scheduled script, a database query, or a clearer form — and that no amount of model capability will fix a process problem underneath it.
